I will keep the writing for this clip short. The lady in the clip I am commenting on is claiming that Christians are doing Moral Relativism since various Christians have different understandings on what Christianity is. I hear this argument often and it really drives me crazy as it is completely fallacious. Just because multiple people have a different understanding about a topic, it does not make that topic relative. That doesn’t logically follow. An example that I like to use for this is 2+2=6. If there are multiple people that believe this equation is true would it logically follow that there is no correct answer to the equation? The answer is no and this follows with Christianity and Morality. Just because people hold a different belief about something doesn’t automatically mean that there is no objective truth about Christianity and Morals. This is essentially my argument against Moral Relativism and Relativism in general.
