Does Free Will Exist?

This topic was to really fun to review and I will probably have an entire episode dedicated to this topic as there are many different ideas that are spawned out of the idea of Determinism such as “Simulation Theory”. The biggest flaw that I see within Determinism is that if the worldview was true, you could never know if you came to the knowledge of Determinism or if you were pre-determined to come to this knowledge. Now in this clip, I’m not entirely sure what this guy thinks Determinism is as most of his claims were that we don’t have the Free Will to end famine, we aren’t free from the consequences of our actions, and apparently we lack free will because he is unable to flap his arms and fly to the moon... Now, beside the fact that we can’t ever go to the moon and we have never been to the moon, this guy clearly has no idea about what he is talking about. Determinism and the idea that we lack Free Will is the belief that we have no control over our actions and our beliefs as we are deterministic machines that react only to an input-output system.
