Atheism is Just the Lack of a Belief System?

I would disagree!

I have heard plenty of atheist make this statement, “Atheism isn’t a belief system, it is the lack of a belief system”. To be fair, this does not at all mean that every atheist would agree with this nor would I attribute this to every atheist but a large majority of them have been convinced that this is a true, logical statement. The truth is that nobody can escape having a worldview/belief system and to think otherwise is absolutely retarded, which is why I am largely under the assumption that atheism is mental retardation. Another thing I hear from atheist is that they are not the ones making a claim so it is up to the Christian to convince them that God exist. Now the atheist is usually expecting the Christian to adopt their worldview, which is generally a very strict naturalist/materialist worldview, but this is absurd to throw our worldview to the side and take on their worldview and show physical evidence of God. We can however adopt their worldview, grant it for the sake of argument and see if we can find anything that exist in the world that is immaterial. This is known as the TAG Argument, the Transcendental Argument for God, which I go into further detail in my article:

So you can check that out if you want a further explanation of that argument but for this clip, I just simply pointed to mathematics, specifically numbers and how you can find no physical evidence for numbers in the natural world. Sure, you can easily count out and number physical things in nature but this is more trying to show that the concept of numbers is something that appears to exist outside the bounds of nature and we can’t find and empirical evidence of where we gain access to the concept of numbers.

This is an example that I like to use to explain this is that numbers are an objective, universal concept and can not be changed even if we can figure out a way to mathematically prove it. Above I show how if we simply count the three points on the number 2, we can act as if the numerical value of 2 is 3, therefore, 2+2 would equal 6 but if we were to apply this method to every number we would end up with chaos and would unravel every mathematical system that we have. So this is just one example of a transcendental category that can not be seen in nature and this is the biggest flaw that I see with atheistic worldviews such as naturalism and materialism is that there are several things that we can point to that will show that there are things that exist in our world that go beyond what is material and found in nature; numbers, morality, truth, and mind.

I have started a new podcast called Strang3 Days Podcast where I will be analyzing various worldviews that seem to be guiding society and trying to point out the logical inconsistencies with these worldviews. Be sure to follow:
